Monday Morning Motivation | I Love You
"You never tell me that you love me," she complained on their her fifth wedding anniversary.
"I told you that I loved you when we got married. If anything changes, I'll let you know."
It's an old joke that highlights our inclination to take those around us for granted, whether it's our spouse, patients who show up once a month or our deeply committed support team.
This week, let's identify and thank those that we're overdue for acknowledging and share an affirming word of gratitude and appreciation. Keeping our "I love you's" up to date produce two valuable benefits. First, it reignites the passion of those around us, inspiring them by recognizing their choice to invest themselves in us. And second, it reminds us of our good fortune to attract such individuals into our life.
Being present to this and acting on it paves the way for even greater blessings.
