Making Choices Storyboard

The following 40 still frames from the video and the script that goes with them will give you an idea about the content of our 6-minute pre-report video. Scenes included in our "combination" video entitled Getting Results have the COMBO icon in the lower right corner. (This icon does not appear on the actual video!)

"Hello again. Before you get your examination results, I’ve been asked to prepare you for some of the decisions you’ll be making in the days and weeks ahead.

First, realize chiropractic is different than traditional medical care. Instead of treating symptoms with drugs or surgery, chiropractic care is mainly concerned with the integrity of your nervous system.

Why the nervous system? Because your brain, spinal cord and all your nerves control and regulate every cell, tissue and organ of your body. Your nervous system is the master system that controls your

heart, your blood, stomach acid, your immune system and trillions of other details. If your nervous system doesn’t work right, you don’t work right. And when you don’t work right, you’re not healthy.

Now, the brain is such an important part of your nervous system, it’s encased in bone. But your spinal cord is a different matter.

Your spinal cord is the information "superhighway" of your nervous system. Instructions to and from your brain travel this vital pathway. Your spinal cord is covered by 24 moving bones.

Nerve roots, one on each side, exit the spinal cord from between each spinal bone to connect your brain to every part of your body—from your nose to your toes.

But each bone can move in many different directions! If one or more of these spinal bones doesn’t move right, it affects nearby nerves.

(Weak) One of two things can happen. The least common is a pinched nerve. It’s easy to see how a nerve might be pinched, but actually, it’s quite rare. I’m told maybe only a fraction of chiropractic cases involve a pinched nerve.

(Normal) Instead, it’s more likely that nerve tissue is stretched, chafed or irritated in some way.

(Distorted) This inflames adjacent soft tissues. Like a short circuit, nerve impulses become distorted, confusing your brain’s ability to to to to properly cccccccontrol and rrrrrrrregulate your body.
