Old Seminar Notes
Trained to take notes in chiropractic college, many chiropractors have the habit of taking notes at the seminars they attend for tests that are never administered.
Instead, these notes, with dozens of great ideas in them, accumulate on bookshelves, in closets and other unhelpful places. The ideas in them represent unexploited intellectual property worth thousands of dollars. Without acting upon them, it’s as if you submitted your seminar registration fee, but didn’t show up.
Collect all the seminar notes you’ve ever taken. Transfer the best ideas to a master list of ideas, procedures and action steps that remain unimplemented. Bring this list with you on the day we’re together.
If you wish, use this occasion to implement any of the ideas that still seem viable and resonate with your beliefs and values. Are there items you could delegate to others?
Use your journal to explore what you think has stood in the way of these ideas being acted upon.
