What are your suggestions on MAKING people take the pamphlets! I almost have to force them!! I've seen them throw them in the trash as soon as they walk out of the office. I have no problem getting them to keep their appointments.

You can't MAKE anyone do anything. When patients resist your efforts it may be a form of passive aggression to help you realize this simple truth.

There can be many reasons as to why patients aren’t interested in the supporting literature you want them to have. Some within your control, and many outside your control. If I were you, I’d find the few who are interested and nurture them.

If your overtures are new, that is, your current patients are not the result of having shared information in the past, it may take some time to start attracting those who want more understanding and respond to informative literature.
