Plain or Laminated Posters? |

You'll notice that most of our posters are offered either plain or laminated with a flexible front and back protective 3-mil plastic coating. Which one is right for you? It depends on how you intend to display your Patient Media posters. |
Choose Plain Posters when you plan to have your posters professionally dry mounted. This process uses heat and pressure to bond the poster to a rigid surface for framing. Because of the heat involved, laminated posters cannot be subjected to this process. Choose Laminated Posters when you intend to rotate two or three posters within the same frame, storing posters not currently on display behind the one that is. Lamination offers protection from handling and oxidation. Because the laminated surface is microscopically porous, we recommend that you not annotate with dry erase marking pens directly onto laminated posters. Those who have, report that erasing the annotations even a week or two later can be difficult or impossible. Instead, protect the poster behind glass or acrylic. Whether plain or laminated, frame your charts and posters to avoid the push pin college dormitory look! |
