We've bundled some of our most popular patient education
tools into a convenient package. Here's how most offices
implement these tools and create consistent new patient
protocol.

We recommend showing this video before your progress examination,
typically the 12th, 12th or 15th visit. Be sure to warn the
patient on the visit before to plan on spending a few extra
moments on their next visit for the progress examination and
report.
When a new patient enters the office, the staff greets them
in the usual way and has them immediately see this progress
exam video without delay.
The chiropractic assistant introduces "Staying Well":
It looks like youre making great progress.
To help all of ourpatients stay well after they get well,
Dr. _____ would like youto see a short 7-minute video that
explains whats at stake at this stage of your recovery.
The VCR or DVD is started, the staff confirms that everything
is working properly (including the volume) then quietly leaves
the room.
If the patient is in too much pain or balks at watching a
video, simply respond, "No problem, the doctor will be
with you in just a few moments," and you revert to your
non-video visit procedures.
If the patient is viewing the video in another room and the
staff cannot hear the sound from their work area, consider
using a timer to monitor the progress of the video to avoid
leaving the patient alone, unattended after the completion
of the video.
When the video is over the doctor enters the room to deliver
the progress report or the patient is escorted to the area
of the office where it will be delivered.
