Implementing the Recovery Insert

Prepare for patient use by entering the patient's name and report date under the title at the top. Apply your practice information with a high quality rubber stamp, or by applying a laser printed adhesive label in the lower right corner.

Review the Recovery Insert on line.

Idea #1

If you don't use our full size coordinating Road to Recovery chart to wrap up your report, then use the scripting for the chart with this tear off insert. Click here to review. If you do, use this sheet to remind patients of your explanation

Idea #2

With your red ballpoint or roller ball pen, circle the lower left area in the "Suffering" area.

"Most of our patients begin chiropractic here, because they're suffering from an ache or pain they think we can help them with. As you can see there are generally three different recovery tracks.

Point to the dip adjacent to "Slower results."

"A few patients actually get a little worse before getting better. This is especially true of patients who have been in an auto accident or suffered other types of recent trauma."

Point to the track with "Faster results."

"And some patients respond more quickly, happily reaching this fork in the road in short order."

Point to the middle track, tapping on each dot.

"But most of our patients show steady progress, each visit building on the ones before, until they too reach the fork in the road."

Draw a question mark above the fork in the road.

"Then you'll have a decision to make. You'll be feeling better, so will you be inclined to build on your foundation and retrain supporting muscle? Improve biomechanics? Stabilize spinal function and fully heal and optimize your spine? That's our goal for you."

Draw a line from the circle at "Suffering", paralleling the road up to green area with an arrow head at the top. Label the arrowhead "Our Goal."

Point to the fork in the road and follow the line down to "Relapse."

"Or, will you choose to coast, possibly suffering a series of roller coaster relapses, that go away for a short time and then unexpectedly return?

"It's your choice. You don't have to decide now, but be thinking about the implications of these two choices in the weeks and months ahead. We'll revisit this later, because our focus now is to get you into the yellow area! Any questions?"

Field any questions.

Idea #3

"Some parents wonder why we're so interested in helping children," you say at your report of findings.

Folding up the bottom third of the insert, cover up the "road" just past the 'fork in the road.'

"Most children have presymptomatic subluxations. So, when we work with kids, we can often avoid the time and expense of relieving symptoms."

Idea #4

Some office will purchase the Recovery Insert in volume so they can take them to a printer and have them imprinted with office information, doctor's biography, wellness tips or other information.
