Plan or Laminated Posters?

You'll notice that all our posters (except one) are offered either plain or laminated with a protective 3-mil plastic coating. Which one is right for you?

It depends on how you intend to display your posters in your office.

Choose Plain Posters when you plan to have your posters professionally and permanently dry mounted. This process uses heat and pressure to bond the posters to a rigid surface, suitable for framing. Professional frame shops use this approach. Because of the heat involved, laminated posters cannot be subjected to this process.

Choose Laminated Posters when you intend to rotate two or three posters within the same frame, storing posters not currently on display behind the one that is. Lamination offers protection from periodic handling and oxidation. Because the lamination surface isn't perfectly smooth, we recommend that you not annotate with dry erase marking pens on laminated posters. Many report that in doing so, erasing the annotations can be difficult or impossible. Instead, protect the poster with glass or clear acrylic.

Whether plain or laminated, be sure to frame your charts and posters!
