Implementing the How Long Will it Take? Brochure

Before implementing any of these suggestions, be sure to either imprint the back side of the brochure with a high quality rubber stamp or laser print your practice information onto clear adhesive labels!

Read the brochure on line.

Idea #1

Present a copy of this brochure each patient's 3rd visit. Have your staff present a copy to each patient as they arrive on their third visit to outline realistic expectations of their chiropractic care.

"Dr. Jones would like you to review this before your visit today so she can answer any questions you may have," your front desk CA smiles.

If you prefer, mail a copy to your newest patients with a simple cover letter outlining suggested home care procedures.

Idea #2

Choose a particular key passage or sentence in the brochure and use a highlighter to identify it. It's best if you do this in front of the patient before handing the brochure to them, so they know that you think there's something important and relevant to them inside.

Idea #3

Some offices will send this brochure with a cover letter so that it arrives at the patient's home several days after beginning care. Here's what you could say:

Dear Patient,

Just a quick note to thank you for selecting our office and to let you know how much we're all looking forward to helping you.

In our office, we see patients with a variety of health problems respond to chiropractic care. To help you get the most from your investment of time and money, here are some suggestions we share with our newest patients:

1. Keep your appointments. Each visit builds on the ones before. Your care recommendations are based on our success with other patients with similar health problems.

2. Do your homework. In many ways, what you do at home and at work can have a profound affect on your progress. This is the time to eat right, rest, and get the proper exercise. We'll offer specific suggestions on future visits.

3. Give it time. Healing is a process that takes time and is influenced by many factors. Retraining muscles and soft tissues needed to support your spine properly can take weeks to months of intensive care. I've enclosed a brochure that explains this process in more detail.

Sincerely,

Idea #4

At the very least, place it in your brochure rack so interested individuals have access to it!
