Annotating the 290 Poster

The statement along the bottom, "Every day in the United States, 290 people die from adverse reactions to prescription drugs..." comes from the 1998 article in the Journal of the American Medical Assocation (JAMA 1998:279;1200-1205, 1216-1217).

Considering that there are approximately 293,000,000 people in the United States these days, you could tailor your inscription based on the size of your town or city. For example, if you practice in a city of 1,000,000 you could accurately write:

1 a Day!

If your city has a population in the 500,000 range you could write:

1 Every Other Day!

or

1 on Monday.
1 on Wednesday
1 on Friday

If your town's population is in the 70,000 range:

1 a Week!

Or, if you live in a metropolitian area with 17,000 people:

1 a Month!

Just imagine if chiropractic was this dangerous.
